Which one is the better solution when making a video hosting website?

FAQ on video web hosting: hey, i am making a video publishing website.i have 2 choices,

1- upload my videos directly to my account and publish em on the website. or,
2- upload the vids on a 3rd party video hosting site(youtube) and have it published on my website

i really don’t get the the pros and cons of the those. which one is the better solution?

BTW i have an unlimited web hosting plan so i wont have any storage or bandwidth problems,hopefully.And yea il be publishing a lot of videos (>1000 and growing.. ). Thanks in advance

    I suggest you go on your own, if you have unlimited storage and bandwidth. It gives you-
    1. Privacy
    2. Complete control
    3. No risk of violation of your copyrights

    But first make sure about "unlimited" staff from your host!

    Make use of your unlimited storage, or even use both options. I would make use of the unlimited storage option and use HTML5 video to play them with a Flash fallback. You have more control of them if you use your own storage account.
